There’s a super cool program for personal finance management called **“MMEX”**. It’s simple, intuitive, cross-platform, and convenient. In fact, in my opinion, it’s one of the best tools for managing household finances.
But I won’t go into all of its advantages right now. Instead, I’ll share an interesting story that happened just a few minutes ago. When I launched the “Money Manager Ex” program, the following error occurred:
../include/wx/datetime.h(1702): assert "tm.IsValid()" failed in Set(): invalid broken down date/time
I didn’t really dive into the details — just did a quick copy-paste and started searching the internet for answers.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t find an exact solution. Only a couple of forum posts about the program, with no clear explanation of the cause or how to fix it.
Hmm, I thought, “date/time”… and today is the last day of February, plus it’s a leap year — 2016! Maybe that’s the issue? But I wasn’t sure. Surely something like that should’ve been accounted for, considering the experience from the year 2000.
Well — let’s check. I changed the date to yesterday. And… voilà! It worked 🙂
Hopefully, the problem will resolve itself tomorrow.
